Paparazzi...Martinis...Milkshakes and Macaroni...

This past Friday (3/27), my team and I coordinated and managed a 30th birthday party. The theme...30 is the new 20. Complete with paparazzi...martinis...milkshakes and macaroni...

Paparazzi:
The party guests entered the artistically beautiful location by going up candlelit steps to the loft. Upon entering they experienced Hollywood Glamour by posing in front of a 30 is the new 20 logo backdrop (Yes folks, we create custom logos too) for the photographers and videographer. After they were then interview for our version of Access Hollywood. So many got into the "game" and loved telling our onsite person who they were wearing and how they were styled. The end video is going to be great!

Martinis & Macaroni:
All the food was served in martini glasses. Thanks to the fabulous job of Chef Smiley of Happy Face Catering. Chef Smiley prepared mashed potato martini's with choice of chicken or salmon lolipops and his Pièce de résistance deep fried macaroni and cheese with a vodka stewed tomato sauce. OMG!!!! Heaven in a martini glass! I have never in my life had something so tasty...I cannot wait to sample his deep fried Oreos with his signature glaze...for more on Chef Smiley.

In addition to all of the delicious food (and there was a lot) Coldstone Creamery was on site to make custom ice cream for each guest. They heated up the dance floor and cooled down with Coldstone.

The cake was courtesy of Desserts by Dana! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! Check out the pic below (cake photo taken by Regina Lesley Event Artistry) :
Milkshakes:
Milkshakes at a birthday party? Oh yes! Everyone at the party reading this blog fully understands that everyone was on the dance floor having a great time (Milkshaking it)! EVERYONE!

I want to share a special special thank you to my assistant for the night, Taisha Ellington-Johnson. She is one of my former students who has just begun her business Ellington Events. She is going to be a FABULOUS planner and I look forward to seeing her business grow (p.s. Taisha is pictured above). I also want to thank Britne Hutchins for being as always a second fabulous assistant! I look forward to a continued relationship with you both!

Last bit of "blog luv" goes out to Leysath Security for taking such great care of my staff and I! Also thanks Bryan Calvetti for the videography, you have a contagious passion! You were both truly amazing!

Until the next time...enjoy life and all the great things that come with it like martinis, milkshakes and macaroni!
